Summary of work

GCG Digital manages a number of platforms and services in use by colleagues across commercial and digital teams within government. This contract is to provide managed service support for a number of those named services and potentially others in the future. The CaSIE dashboard has been live for c. 5 years, and provides various dashboards and reports on central government and wider public sector procurement, using a combination of publicly available data, in-house systems and data reported to the Cabinet Office. These dashboards are used by the Cabinet Office to monitor government commercial arrangements, identify potential savings, and support departments with their procurement activity. It is also used by commercial teams across the public sector to better understand the wider context in which they are operating. The Grants Centre of Excellence is a Wordpress website for grant practitioners housing collection of guidance, support, templates, documents, toolkits and training. It provides latest news and info from GGMF business areas. Please note that the system is incorrectly presenting the timetable for this procurement. The stage 2 dates are not correct, the intention is to have concluded the process and have a contract in place by the end of March, for work to commence early April.

Where the supplied staff will work

No specific location (for example they can work remotely)

Why the work is being done

These tools serve the needs of the Government Commercial and Grants Functions. Both services are in maintenance mode and require a supplier on hand to maintain data pipelines, fix bugs and ensure the service(s) remain online and available to users.

The business problem you need to solve

Commercial teams from all departments have access to data on government commercial activity across government. Grants practitioners have access to guidance, support, templates, documents, toolkits and training. GCG digital has technical support on hand to maintain essential services.
